A Mental Health Calendar for 2024

I’m glad you decided to join covering our Mental Health Calendar for 2024! We’re extremely excited to bring this to you as this Calendar results from a lot of love and hard work from us. We hope that after reading you’ll be as thrilled about this as we are. You can find it here.

 



 

So to start with: our mood tracker comes as a PDF. You’ll need an internet browser or your favorite PDF reading application such as Adobe Acrobat or LightPDF. Alternatively, you can go analog and print the calendar to use in your home or as part of your mental health journey in journaling or therapy.

 

Daily Suggestions, Affirmations, And Reflections

 

Each month has suggestions for each day - they can be mindfulness practices or skills to ease your stress or enrich yourself spiritually.  Throughout the year you’ll have 365 suggestions in total. Each month will have a theme for these suggestions, be they self-care, self-expression, or support systems. Even if these suggestions do not always interest or apply to you, you can mix and match using suggestions from previous days. All of them will contribute positively to your continued well-being.

 

Monthly Review

 

The real meat of the calendar comes after each month. There is a monthly review which is an opportunity for you to fill out and reflect on at the end of each month. It is a chance to consider highlights, things you learned, things you are grateful for, as well as things you’d like to do better next month.

 

Following the monthly review - each month has a unique activity. These self-improvement activities can be done daily (though not all are designed that way). 

 

January - Mindfulness Daily Tracker

 

The mindfulness tracker is built to encourage you to reflect on your day and encourages you through that reflection to take steps toward practicing mindfulness in your day-to-day life. It also contains a mini-habit tracker so that you can, at a glance, see what you’re doing physically to improve your personal and mental well-being.



February - Self-Care Daily Tracker

 

February’s self-care tracker is laid out to give you some ideas and suggestions on how to take care of yourself. We know many of our readers reach out to us for suggestions on simple steps to help themselves heal - and this is really a love letter to them.

March -  Mood Daily Tracker

 

Our mood tracker has been a very popular product since its release and we couldn’t resist the opportunity to get it out there to help more people. Here it's been streamlined and focused to help guide you and give you a deeper insight on how you’re feeling daily. This pairs especially well with daily journaling.

April - Wellness Weekly Tracker

 

The wellness tracker is our most self-guided of the monthly activities present in the calendar. Not meant to be overthought, it simply asks what you did to improve your wellness each day, whether through activity, sleep, practicing gratitude, and habit building. 

May - Mental Health Research Checklist

 

May takes a self-improvement-focused stride with its research checklist. It is a simple checklist of subjects you can choose to learn about and research in any order you like. We encourage you to gain a better understanding of your mind and try to check off all the topics!

June - Exploration Month Challenge

 

The exploration monthly challenge continues to build on May’s theme of self-improvement. However, rather than focusing on research, this checklist is more experiential, encouraging you to broaden your horizons with different activities. It’ll be an exciting month to reflect on and see how many circles you can fill by the end of June.


July - Support System Worksheet

 

The support system worksheet in July is one of my favorites. While it isn’t a daily activity, it is something that will require a great deal of thought to complete as you evaluate who you have in your life and what roles they fill in supporting you. If you find it hard to fill this one out, that's okay! But I encourage you to think about how you can bring others into your life to fill this one up.

 

August - Social Media Daily Tracker

 

Social media plays an increasingly dramatic role in our lives these days. As our screen time balloons it becomes evermore important to consider what it is we’re doing as we engage with these platforms that absorb an expanding portion of our lives. Did you spend more time browsing YouTube than you wanted to today? How did that make you feel?  

September - Habits Daily Planner

 

Our habits make us. They are the interstitial tissue that hems together our lives. The habits daily planner gives you a place to outline how you spend your day while encouraging you to focus on what is important to you.

October - Safety Plan Worksheet

 

Safety plans often go overlooked until they’re needed. Like July’s support system worksheet, this safety plan worksheet isn’t a daily activity, but it will require much thought and consideration as you work on it. I highly encourage you to do this and print it out for you to have to refer to.

 

November - Gratitude Daily Tracker

 

November is the season of gratitude where we’re from here at Mental Health Wellness, and we decided to reflect that in our calendar with the gratitude tracker. We could all stand to be more grateful for what we have and some say that gratitude is the key to living happier lives. Take some time daily to count your blessings.

December - Mental Health Daily Tracker

 

To complete the set we have our mental health daily tracker. This daily activity is meant to give you a glance into how you’re feeling throughout your day, as well as things you’re doing to take care of yourself. Also contained within are spaces to write out what you’re feeling, what you’d like to tell yourself tomorrow, and things you’d like to feel tomorrow.



While these summaries are brief, they get to the heart of what each month contains with our calendar. It was a labor of love to build it, and hopefully, it’ll help you make new strides in your mental health journey in 2024. Do your best, remember to be good to each other and that includes yourself.
